bayside is the school that's cool and you know that it's true

in the age of 1000 tv channels, i'm sure it's not uncommon to come across old episodes of saved by the bell. since we only get channels 2-13, when jim found it the other day, we were more than happy to stop and watch. first was the one where the gang makes and markets screech's secret spaghetti sauce: "the sauce-a, you can have, but the secret--she's-a mine!" sadly, i couldn't stay for the second episode--the one where they introduced tori the motorcycle chick to replace kelly and jessie, who left the series for "better" projects.

then, this morning, hearing a familiar voice in an auto insurance commercial, i looked up, and there again was tori! gone are the brown ringlets and instead her hair is an odd, unnatural shade of yellow, which, for an actress, is saying something. clearly, her career never exactly took off.

my favorite saved by the bell episode, and i'm sure i'm not alone, is the one where jessie abuses caffeine pills. (i'm so excited, i'm so...scared, zack!) the one where kelly breaks up with zack for her boss, jeff, at the costume dance is pretty good too. jim likes the one with the oil spill. what is your favorite?
