i taught sunday school again today. persistent snowfall kept many at home and landed me in the enviable position of making small talk with the lone student, a usually moppy-headed pre-teen who looked surprisingly well-groomed on this snowy day. i asked him what he did this weekend, and he said, "nothing, really...my sister straightened my hair."
of course she did.
then i let him set up the plastic bowling pins that were inexplicably present, and he went to town.
